Custom Future Sonic Screwdrivers
The custom Doctor's Sonic has a Character Options emitter and pen tip at the bottom. The handle I replaced with a piece of aluminium tube and a new push button that operates the Character Options electronics which are housed inside the metal tube.
The 'rippled' section at the bottom of the handle is actually from a Character Options Laser Screwdriver.
I repainted with Plastikote metallic silver and Jim Holtz distress crackle paint. The emitter doesn't extend in and out like on the toy, as I couldn't get that to work!
The River Song Screwdriver Future Screwdriver is another Character Options Doctor Sonic Screwdriver that has been heavily modified. The emitter is cut shorter to match the original prop, with the blue lens modified with Milliput epoxy putty and the side probes made out of small aluminium and brass rods.
The body housing is from the toy, with a section cut out to house the power meter (from Maplins electronics). It is powered by the battery housing from the toy. The finger ring is made from a pair of hoop earrings!
Other details are from a model kit, a piece of acrylic rod and plasticard. The bottom section is aluminium rod with 'windows' filed out, then painted gold. The end tip is again the pen section from the toy.
Thanks Simon

My Classic Console Room & Pertwee era TARDIS. I made this from a GRP (fiberglass) kit of sorts. The parts of the walls, console and columns I painted trimmed, sanded, primed and fitted together, the whole thing taking about two months to make. I painted the console and fitted the uderside to it. I dressed the room with hat stand and chair etc and made the scanner screen slide up and down and various pictures for it. I based the room on a white perspex sheet. I went for a mix of looks, nothing specific. It has the main doors from the 60s, the internal door from Key to Time, generic scanner and the roundel walls from the Five Doctors, columns from Tom Baker/Peter Davison and I added an extra wall I made for next to the internal door like the one seen in State of Decay. I have also now made a third wall to go over the scanner wall for the computer bank seen in the 60s and I have made the grey wall from Pertwee's time for this wall which can be placed in front of the existing scanner wall. Thanks Ben
