Twelfth Doctor Touch Control Sonic Screwdriver

The Twelfth Doctor Touch Control Sonic Screwdriver features light and sound effects, touch sensitive handle grip, and removeable 'Power Core'. Flick the switch to release the emitter and touch both sides of the grip to activate light and sound effects. First release August 2014.

Hold index finger against lower side of the Control Collar and touch thumb to the top surface to activate in both closed and extended modes.

The Touch Control Sonic was first released in the spherical packaging from September 2014, and then subsequently on a card in a blister pack from October 2014. The blister pack version has a darker paint finish on the 'bronze' sections; the earlier version has more of a gold colour.
