Dapol Transmat Tardis Thanks Hoosier Whovian
Following the factory fire at Dapol's Cheshire plant in 1994, the company relocated to Wales where they manufactured and released Doctor Who toys up until 2001. Circa 1996 Dapol released the now increasingly sought after Transmat Tardis which featured opening doors. The Transmat Tardis was a promotional item that originally contained jelly babies.

Dapol also released a yellow mutant version of the transparent plastic Transmat Dalek which was exclusive to a US retailer.
