• More Classic Merchandise BBC Worldwide has ensured that loads more classic series merchandise will soon be available by signing up two new licensees. Bravado, a division of London listed Sanctuary Group plc, will release a range of retro T-shirts and hoodies based on 4th and 5th Doctor artwork (the first three shirts will be released in time for Xmas available at HMV, Play and Amazon). For Spring 2010 Half Moon Bay (who make a brilliant range of products & have loads of other top licenses) are set to release a whole range of funky classic retro Doctor Who gift items including mugs, bags, wallets and keychains as well as other proposed ranges of hats, belts and greetings cards. • Adventures in Time and Space A brand new role playing game from Esdevium Games, Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space is aimed at the experienced and first time gamer. The game will be published in box format and will feature a Player's Guide, Gamemaster's Guide, Adventure Book, Quick Start Guide, Character Sheets (including pre-generated characters for the series cast), Tokens and Dice. Esdevium Games are one of Europe's leading distributors of hobby and mass-market products with high profile licenses including Pokemon (trading cards) and Star Wars (trading card game and roleplaying products). Adventures in Time and Space should be out in time for Xmas 2009 and will retail at around £39.99

The first signed Time Crash became the most expensive figure set ever, raising an astounding £540 for the Lynn North Memorial Fund; the second set sold for £450. • Christmas in July 10th July 2009 The Christmas in July event is a major trade show held every year in London for toy makers and distributors to show off their new Xmas releases to buyers and the media. Whilst Character had a large stand there was no new Doctor Who merchandise on display for 2009. Certainly however there should be plenty of new Who toys to look forward to at the London Toy Fair in early 2010.
